REPROGRAM YOUR UNCONSCIOUS MIND
WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
Let’s start with what hypnotherapy is not. I will not snap my fingers for you to drop limp in your chair, start eating a lemon as if it was a yummy orange and not rember a thing afterwards.
It would be inaccurate to compare stage hypnosis with hypnotherapy. I can’t make you do anything you don’t want to do.
Hypnosis is a state of concentrated awareness and deep relaxation. It is the same natural state you go through every night just before you fall asleep, where you begin to let go and relax, both physically and mentally. At that moment when you are deeply relaxed and not distracted, your subconscious mind is very receptive to promptings and insights.
You can still think during your hypnotherapy session. You will be in control of yourself and capable of thinking. In fact, you are even more alert and aware than that moment at home before you fall asleep.
CAN ANYONE BE HYPNOTIZED?
Dr. John Kappas (1925–2002) identified three different types of suggestibility and the way we receive information that have improved hypnosis. We determine if you have a higher degree of responsiveness to inferred (right brain dominant) or literal (left brain dominant) suggestions, or if you tend to analyze and rationalize highly intellectually. A simple test will outline the best way to hypnotize anyone.
WHAT CAN HYPNOSIS DO FOR ME?
Hypnosis supports and optimizes your own effort in a powerful way. The deep state of relaxation that we call hypnosis allows you to have a greater ability to harness the tremendous power of the subconscious mind to your advantage.
HOW DOES HYPNOSIS WORK?
Hypnotherapy is a team effort:
- You tell me what you want to achieve.
- We test your suggestibility type.
- You allow me to help you get into this deep state of relaxation that is called hypnosis.
- I share specific suggestions with you, based on and using your own words.
- Your unconscious mind takes in these suggestions which allows you to create new neural pathways.
Consultation and sessions take place via Zoom as well as in-person if you are local.

“Most people walk through the world in a trance of disempowerment.
Our work is to transform that into a work of empowerment.”
